Auditions

We are seeking 8 ethnically diverse women to perform in the September 23-24 2011 production of Birth. See the character list below.

Auditions are May 21 in the midcities area from 11 am to 5 pm, by appointment, with call backs on May 22.

We will be rehearsing throughout July, August and September. Rehearsals will typically be Monday-Thursdays between 7-9 pm (unless the cast is available at alternate times). We won't rehearse every night, but as often as 3-5 nights per week as the event gets closer, so this will be a significant time commitment.

The show will be on September 23-24, 2011 at Arlington. We will have a Saturday matinee and three evening performance. The week of the performance you must be available for the evening tech/dress rehearsals.

To schedule an appointment time to audition, email auditions@boldfortworth.org
, and let us know if you prefer an early or late afternoon appointment time. We will try to accommodate your request.

Audition tips:
  • Please do not bring children to the audition unless you have another caregiver available to be with them while you audition.
  • Be prepared to give us your conflicts and blackout dates at the audition.
  • Bring a headshot that we can keep and a resume if you have one.
  • Show up 10 minutes before your appointment and bring the audition form (see form under attachments).
TECHNICAL CREW CALL
We will need a limited number of tech crew members. Please contact us directly at auditions@boldfortworth.org if you are interested in participating in the technical crew. Include your tech experience if applicable.

All cast and crew positions are volunteer for this fundraising event.
